Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom and Lloyd’s Mom, and all you other moms out there! If you’d like to read a heart-warming article about the 8 best animal moms, click here, but if you’re squeamish, stop reading after hornbills. An octopus (slimy, but adorable), earwig and wolf spider await you.
I am posting this photo to perhaps shame me out of a bad habit. I’m fairly good at loading the dishwasher on a semi-regular basis, but apparently you shouldn’t put non-stick items in there. So, when I cook with non-stick, I like to leave it in the sink ‘to soak’ for days an indeterminate amount of time.
Need a clean pan? Why – get another one!
Still need a clean pan? Why on earth are you cooking so much. One last pan, then you gotta go shopping.

They make paper plates so people don’t have to worry about doing dishes all the time… Why don’t they make paper pans? It could be a million dollar idea!

Aha! Now I know why octopusses(octopusi?) have so many arms! 🙁
And does this only happen to me. I love scrambled eggs…but no matter how much I spray the pan, coat it with butter or lower the fire… I still get a thin film in the pan that is a bugger to clean.

I do this with our knives that can’t go in the dishwasher. By the way, our dishwasher died and we had to HAND WASH for a week!
