Halloween has come and gone. Kate came over with her dog, and Lloyd has decided that he wants a cat who acts like Sophie.
We had a good crowd: A couple pioneer girls, a unicorn, some mice, a brood of vampires, a gaggle of princesses, and lots of Batmen – both modern and classic.
It was a good night, and the weather was perfect – warm enough to just wear costumes. Not like those Octobers where you have to wear your parka over your costume and people have to guess what you are based solely on your legs and head.
I shut the lights out at 8:15, though. Is that early? It’s probably too early, but I was done. Why, oh why isn’t Halloween always on a Friday?
