Here’s what I was going to post before it evaporated:
You know you’re well on your way to the nuthouse when you’re mixing chocolate pudding while woefully singing “It’s My Party And I’ll Cry If I Want To” at the top of your lungs in an operatic voice.
Another sign is that your husband is not fazed by this – he just joins in on the chorus.
Gretchen says
So it wasn’t the loss of the post that caused you to cry (if you wanted to)?
Lauren says
No -- just the plight of the girl in the song, plus my long day. But pudding was on the way, and that made it all better. (Well, for me. Not her.)
Brad says
Visiting your website with my school laptop this morning caused my newly virus-free and restored computer to launch the security software, do a scan where it found four problems that had the words “trojan” and “worm” in them, then crash.
It might be that my laptop was not actually virus-free and that it was some innocuous thing that caused the scan to initiate at the moment I opened your site, but I’m just saying something about it in case it wasn’t a coincidence.
Lauren says
Er, sorry about that. Stay away, everyone!!! I don’t want your computers to die on my account!! We’ve either got a mindless virus or a mean person behind this, so keep yourself safe.
Lauren's mom says
….John what’s-his-face?
Beth says
Mine didn’t do anything weird this morning… And it has for the past three mornings, so I’m data on the virus-free side…
And I want to frame that drawing, because I love it so.
Kristi says
Is that an apron you’re wearing or overalls? Either way, I like the look.
Sing on, sister.
Brad says
Okay… I’m pretty sure it was just my computer. Somehow I got one of those malware programs that diguises itself as virus protection software. Not knowing the name of the software our IT guy is using, I thought it was a real warning. He has removed the malware and I think I’m back to my old new computer. Yay! (The new old computer has been driving me crazy!)
