The weather is warmer, the squirrels and birds are foraging in the yard, and Lloyd and I need to go shopping.
At the time of this writing (9:18 p.m. Friday night), I have plans to go on a quest on Saturday. I have some Christmas wish list money from school that needs to be spent (on some computer-y stuff), and I think I’ll feel up to it. If not feeling up to it, it’s napping all day, so either way it’s a win-win.
What’s up for your Saturday?
If rain doesn’t stop me, I’m going to kill bugs and fungus in my garden. I have wished for this all week, but have been prevented. I will stop their reckless destruction of my beloved plants.
I’m cleaning out the Food Bank House (boo!).
And then we’re going to dinner and a hockey game with friends (yay!).
By the way, are you using your truck this morning from 10am-noon? If not, may we borrow it? (nervous smile for asking on such short notice, but not worried because I think I can borrow Dad’s.)
While I’d like to say ‘yes’, the thing I am shopping for is a cabinet, so we’ll need the truck. (Yet it is also possible that we won’t be ready to go until noon. Eh – you’re better off asking your dad. Sorry.)
1. Practicing music for a duet at church music.
2. Helping Joanna lead a “Make Your Own Duck Tape Bag” class.
3. Loafing around outside.
4. Watching some college hoops.
Prepping some school stuff, getting ready for Sunday School Easter program practice, going for a walk, having the first cookout of the season, listening to Jason and the kids cheer and fuss about college basketball, and going to the “Golden Dragon Acrobats from China” tonight.
I’m in the process of killing my back even more by trying to figure out how to arrange new furniture I just had delivered for our family room.
Then off to the bedroom closet for cleaning.
Why do I have the most boring Saturday planned?
