I forgot about cold brew coffee.
I read a post that was talking about it and thought, “Oh yeah! I used to do that all the time.” So I’ve got a pitcher brewing for tomorrow. It’s a work day at school (no children, just some deep cleaning), so this will be good for keeping me conscious when my adrenaline gives out.
I also forgot that if you drain your hamburger into an empty can and let it sit on the counter while you are at home visits, a cat can get on the counter and make it empty again.
There is going to be a nasty, greasy surprise in the litter box later. *jibblie*

I remember reading some fairy tale about a cat and a mouse who pool their money and buy a bucket of fat that they can share over the winter months. I wondered if it was common back then for people to just eat fat. Apparently Princess Batman has no qualms.
Peggy says
Do cats ever eat their expulsions? Her next few may be so grease filled that she just may.

I may have to try that cold brew coffee. Are your directions on your website somewhere?
Lauren says
Er… if you can call them ‘directions’. It’s pretty much just a coffee grounds in about twice as much water, let it sit 8-12 hours, then strain. It makes a concentrate.
Curt says
I think PB ate the fat because it was in a cat food can.
Curt says
I really like the cajun trail mix that is on your counter. Mmmmm…..good.
