Heavy Bag

August 16, 2012

My truck stopped working on Monday, but I just now got around to talking to someone about fixing it. Lloyd gave it a look, but seeing that it had no hard drive, he gave up.

I don’t mind walking, but there is so much junk in my bag it is ridiculous. Tonight I dumped it all out on the table and assessed it.

I have determined that it is all vitally necessary, including the many lists, lone zip tie and Baggie of emergency cat food for strays. (Otherwise known as PB bait).

maybe this is why you are creaky in the morning??

You could switch to a backpack. It does a great job of distributing weight to your hips and shoulders equally. Then you could carry up to a third of your body weight comfortably.

Maybe you could rig your bag with wheels. Do you have an old roller skate? Or maybe try balancing it on your head. I think it would feel less heavy & you would gain great posture and balance to boot.

You need to borrow a little red wagon or a book bag on wheels.
