Inhale pink, exhale blue.
Those are the wise words from my friend Kathryn, who in college would intone them in a Zen-like voice whenever one of us was freaking out. It’s good to get the bad energy out.
Inhale pink, exhale blue.
I am one of those people who inwardly rolls my eyes when people say how busy they are, so feel free to outwardly roll them.
Thursday morning I leave for Illinois with a small group to help out with a conference. I only have two little parts to do, but the past few weeks have been my trying to eek out enough to say, put in in digital form, then figure out how not to lose it or break my iPad. (I had a dream I took the iPad into a pool. As I sat on my floating chair, I dropped it in the water, immediately scooped it up, then told everyone in the pool, “Don’t tell Lloyd, ok?”)
There are 3 presentations going on at church (Thursday, Sunday, Thursday) that Lloyd and I have been getting ready for. He has done the lion’s share by putting together an awesome Prezi, and I have done all the worrying. I promised that there would be childcare for these meetings, but no one was signing up, and it’s stressful for me because I’ll miss the first meeting. Everyone pray that it goes well, ok?
In the meantime, there are the other dumb things that keep cropping up. It all wouldn’t be so bad if I were better at time management.
Anyway, after next Thursday, it is smooth sailing all the way…. and Brad will be here!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!
