Day off

October 27, 2012 by Lauren 3 Comments

If you are an early riser, you notice that I didn’t have a post up. That’s because I fell asleep on the sofa around 7:30 watching Alton Brown make chocolate cookies, and woke up 12 hours later! Those are some powerful sleep cookies.

What are you going to do this Saturday? I think I have to go to Sam’s Club for candy buying.

Sleeping in the fall is the best!

I have to get ready for Sandy today. And I’m especially upset about her arrival because I have tickets to see “Wicked” tomorrow night & I’m flying to Alabama Monday morning. Or not to both events. Stupid Sandy.

This morning I vacuumed all of the baseboards that were covered with bugs. Yuck. I’ve got bedding in the dryer, so we’ll all be sleeping on clean sheets tonight. Or maybe for a nap this afternoon.

I had lunch with my “second parents” from Tennessee. They were visiting friends here in Baltimore and treated me to a meal at Cheesecake Factory. None of us had cheesecake. After that I went to the mall. I’m too lazy to attach the obligatory link to Robin Sparkles’ hit “Let’s Go to the Mall”.
