Once again, complaining about something nobody else cares about, but bear with me.
I don’t know what we did when we had Cricket and Pfennig, but I rarely if ever changed the litter box out completely. It was mostly a ‘reload’ situation, and since the litter box was in the unfinished basement, odor never seemed to be a big deal.
Now, though, with three bathwater-drinking maniacs living in the house, the litter box in the upstairs bathroom had a definite odor after a month. Grrrr. This morning I emptied the box into a bag, scrubbed out the box, then scrubbed the tub so the bathwater-drinkers wouldn’t drink gross litter water. After assembling the new litter setup, I looked in the tub and they had already stepped litter onto the wet surface, and now it was laminated to the bottom. Lloyd tried just rinsing it down, but I showed him that scrubbing was the only way. Grrrrr.
While we were doing so, Wally chewed a hole in the bag of dirty litter.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
When Lloyd came home today, he discovered broken glass all over the kitchen floor and cleaned it all up, God bless him. Somebody (we’re eyeing you, Wally) tried to jump to the top shelf and pulled three wine glasses down with him.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
And yet I love them.
Not Wally, of course.
Brad says
Somebody tried to jump onto the top shelf of the cabinet? That shelf up there by the copper mugs? Sheesh! That’s ambitious!
Lloyd says
The leaping knows no bounds. Basically, if they can see it, they will try to jump to it. Sometimes they have to get liquored up first.
Peggy says
Of course you love them anyway….how could you not? Look at those adorable faces!
But I gotta say, Emme looks kind of guilty in that picture. Sorry Emme.
Peggy says
In the 1st picture.
Lloyd says
I didn’t even notice her there.
Peggy says
Lauren—Have you seen these? It’s no teardrop, but it’s close.
I’m sure Lloyd wouldn’t mind being the driver.

*swoon* I had seen three of them, but not the others. Back to the site to drool some more. Thanks, Peggy!! 😀
