Good grief. When are we going to get to this? Thank you, Thursday night thunderstorm.
The wire pulling went well. I am tired and that’s all.

Friday was much like Thursday, with some improvements. I was tired, but the kids were pretty great, and we were a little bunch (only 15!), and there was plenty of coffee. After work I actually ate some dinner, then just had one home visit. Then I went back to church with Lloyd and Jared where I was a fine, fine lacky. Nobody can tote and carry like me.
Saturday is when all the planning comes to fruition. They have been getting ready for this day all summer. The calculations have been made, maps have been drawn, holes have been drilled, so tonight it was getting all the actual cable ready for Saturday’s Big Pull. All I did was tape the things I was told to tape and take pictures. We were pulling yards and yards of cable out of these big boxes, bundling them all together so the crew in the morning just has to do the grunt work of getting it in the ceiling. (It was like being a giant spider making a silk strand for the web. Go, spinnerets!)
After a while it looked like we were all done and I was just dorking around. I was excited that we would be home before 11:00. Woo-hoo!
Then Jared and Lloyd started talking about what needed to happen …. downstairs.
And I died a little inside.
Long story short, it is 1:03 as I finish typing this on my ipad. It was written piecemeal as I awaited orders for aforementioned totin’ and haulin’. They are still going over the game plan.
The good news? We’re back here bright and early tomorrow morning!
