To-Do and To-Didn’t

August 31, 2013

I had high hopes for Saturday. I have a list of things to get done this long weekend, and some things were done today, some weren’t. I’m sure you’re on the edge of your seat wondering.

What did get done:
Big breakfast (highest priority)
Two solids naps (You have to pencil those in first.)
Package mailed to Brad (better late than never)
An hour of cleaning in the basement (not as much accomplished as hoped)
Two loads of laundry
Guest room partially cleaned
Tomato tart made and eaten
Kitchen cleaned twice (grumble grumble)
Television watched – ahhhhhhh……
Internet surfed……. ahhhh…..

What did not get done:
Visit to the doctor (my knee and wrist have been acting up and Wednesday’s appointment was cancelled by the doctor. I was too lazy to go for a walk-in this morning. Eh – I’ll be fine.)
Groceries purchased
First viewing of how communion gets set up. (Lloyd and I are on the altar guild/communion set-up list and I wanted to see the Saturday night and Sunday morning routine. I was too late for the Saturday one. D’oh! There’s always tomorrow.)

    Woo hoo! A package!
    What’s a tomato tart?

    • Lauren Said on:

Don’t get too excited. It contains your shoes and a tube of toothpaste that has probably melted since that box has sat in my boiling-hot car for five days. (I wrapped in in a bag, though, so hopefully it’s alright.)

What a tomato tart? It’s another post.

So I read Brad’s question: What’s a tomato tart? (which I was wondering, too) and then immediately read this (written by you): It contains your shoes and a tube of toothpaste……

What???? Oh, you meant the Package!
