Peggy is awesome!

December 5, 2013

I came home from Parent-Teacher Conferences and a very nice staff social, and there was a surprise in the mailbox from Peggy! Woo-hoo!!!

I was just happy to see her name, but I laughed so hard when I opened the package. Seriously, Peggy – I had a hard time catching my breath. It was full of flashlights!!!! Oh, that was just perfect! The card reads:

“Let there be light! (picture of fire)

Inside: Sorry – not that kind of light. Here are just a few back-ups to keep here and there. You’ll have to pull the tab, and to turn on the light you pull the head of the flashlight forward. They may come in handy in an emergency.”

Are you kidding me? They came in handy today! I fired one up and walked all around turning it on and off and marveling in its wonderful flashlighty goodness.

I love flashlights. Thank you, Peggy!! 😀

Haha! Awesome! Will you keep them all on your keychain at the same time? If you did, you’d have a really hard time losing your keys.

I wish I could have really sent a little campfire to you! Wouldn’t that be a fun treat!
