Fan of the brick

December 13, 2013 by Lauren 6 Comments

Oops. I was uploading stuff last night and forgot to make a post. This will be short and sweet.

I am a fan of buying coffee in brick form. Less packaging waste is the main reason, but honestly, it’ just fun to buy a brick of coffee.

Happy Saturday!

I think vacuum packaging is cool. They should offer more things like that. Cereal in a vacuum bag? Awesome! Vacuum-packed socks? Yes!

It is cheaper and fresher and brighter and happier and sassier!

    (Alternate answer: I don’t know.)

Somebody gifted a pound of yeast to us for Christmas last year, and it was vacuum-packed. That little brick was heavy, too. I had no idea that a pound of yeast could be so big when unwrapped from its packaging!

Hee hee! I am still using the tail end of a brick of yeast that I bought back in my bread-crazed days. That was… (quick check)… six years ago? It still works.
