I watched ‘The Secret life of Walter Mitty’ with Deborah this weekend, and I have to say – Ireally liked it. The main character has some serious daydreams going on, and as a possessor of a Rich Inner World, it appealed to my very soul. Then they had to go goof it up with its whole ‘Stop Dreaming. Start Living’ message. It was inspiring, but not inspiring enough to get me to actually do something. Nope, lost of sitting around for me, since that’s Living The Dream for me.
But there is the rest of the year coming. There are Big Things coming on the horizon, the biggest being that a new CDC is going to be built. The details of that are still being worked out, but that’s a good thing that’s coming.
There’s the dreaming about the future wood stove, but after actually looking up the prices – gulp – I realize that this won’t just be a ‘save the change from my pockets for two years’ kind of project. More daydreaming on this topic is required.
Lastly, in this list of things that are loosely related, I need to do a better job with this website. I was telling Curt the other night that I often feel like I’m just phoning it in. I need to write something everyday because if I skip a day this thing will die. The problem is that wen you don’t have anything to write about? Well, then you’re just making lists that are loosely related.
So, to sum up. Walter MItty good. CDC exciting. Wood stove not gonna happen. Better writing needed.
Bring it on, 2013. Wait, 2014. Dang it.

So you wouldn’t consider making your own wood stove? Basically all you need is a box & some wood, right? You can do it!
And I really liked Walter Mitty too!

I did not see Walter Mitty. The most recent movie I saw was 47 Ronin. I’m not sure what the message of that movie would be, but it didn’t end very well for the main characters.

Life is a series of events, -- loosely related.
I love the blog, and your writing.
Keep it up! 🙂

Even with all those typos? Holy cow, that was embarrassing.
