He sings the song of his people

February 1, 2014 by Lauren 6 Comments

Today was a good day. Lloyd had a surplus auction, I got some stuff done in Lincoln, we met up with Sam and I had dinner with some friends. (The last is very unusual for hermit-y old me.)

I want to talk about the auction. Lloyd and I usually go in together but then peel off to look at different stuff. (I look at the cool, weird things. He looks at computers. Bo-ring.)

When I wanted to find him, I stood in the middle of the vast, cavernous room and scanned for him. I figured he’d be easy to find – just look for the weird beard.

HAHAHA! I was laughing louder with each new picture.
And I think I’ve seen some of those people when I’ve gone to auctions there.

I don’t know whether to be offended or… No, ,I”m pretty sure I’m suppose to be offended. Insulting my people like that. The nerve.

Just wondering -- can Lloyd braid his beard?

    Haha!! Hilarious!

It must be the year of the beard. My son is also sporting a beard. I can’t say that I like it. He’s shaving it off at the start of baseball season.
