Favorite Font

February 12, 2014

My current favorite font is AvantGarde. It’s just so readable, plus if I print stuff for the preschoolers, it has easy-to-copy ‘ball and bat’ style letters. Nice and alert looking, Avantgarde is.

I used to be partial to Papyrus, but it’s so Old Testament-y. You just can’t have everything you type look so important, y’know. It would be like Moses saying, “Lo, buy two loaves of bread at Wal-Mart, and Thou shalt not forget the coffee.”

I learned the circle-and-stick method of printing. I know that was out of style at one point. Is it back in again?

I often have a hard time picking fonts…..there’s just so many to choose from.

Wasn’t there a movie about the font Helvetica?
