Crummy batteries and near misses

February 16, 2014

I went to Lincoln Sunday afternoon to do all those errands I put off on Saturday.

I was unsuccessful.

First stop was Harbor Freight for some cheap batteries for my camera and the remotes. I bought the cheapest! I even had my camera along so I could get inspired and take some photos during my trip. Sure enough, I took my third photo….and my cheap batteries stopped working. Good grief.

Next, JC Penneys to buy replacement horizontal mini blinds for the toddler room at school. News flash: JC Penney no longer carries regular mini blinds. Neither does Sears. Or anywhere else in the mall.

I was on the hunt for a diaper changing pad for the new nursery at church, and the first store had one, but I bought it after I checked three other places.

Menard’s had mini-blinds, but in a noticeably different color. I don’t care. I bought them anyway.

I bought a couple of other things, but they are future posts. I hope your Sunday went well!

Ah, unsuccessfull shopping trips are the worst! I hope in between it all you stopped & treated yourself to something scumptious to eat….or drink. Or both.

I agree with Peggy! Did you stop for a Cinnabon? Mmm…
