Thursday was all about being lazy on the sofa, bur Friday was busy busy busy. We woke up at a reasonable hour so that Brad could hang out at Beth and Harold’s for a little bit before Lloyd and I drove him to the airport. ‘Bye, Brad. We’ll miss you. *sniff* 🙁
After we abandoned left him at the Omaha airport we backtracked to look at a HUGE stump we had passed on the way there. It was ginormous!
Lloyd says it was a cottonwood tree, and since I have no knowledge of trees, I took his word for it.
We stopped at a few stores after that, including a Goodwill where they had nothing sorted – just bins and bins of junk to rummage through and then they would charge you by the pound. Yes, by the pound. I didn’t touch anything due to extreme fear of bedbugs. Fortunately, there was a Goodwill For Electronics right next door that had a good Exterminator.
(Heh heh, ‘exterminator’ – A Dalek!. It’s a Doctor Who thing.)
Afterward we went back to Lincoln to meet up with Samith and Stephannie for dinner and a movie (The Imitation Game).
Whew! I’d better sit around Saturday to recover. 🙂

Sorting through bins of junk in Goodwill sounds like my worst nightmare. Shudder. Glad you resisted.
Good morning! Best wishes on your lazy day!

It’s cool that you stopped at that stump. And that you remembered where it was.
If I was at a by-the-pound sale, I’d try to get the largest pile for the least money.
