Brad and I were talking about our websites today and how I often am scrambling for content. Bradaptation is such a great memory archive – Brad can find out when he did anything! Too often I make throwaway posts about something dumb I saw, but not today. Today I will write down what’s been going on.
Lloyd is in Philadelphia for a technology conference. I’m sure he’ll write something about it when he gets home, so I won’t tell you his secret desire to become Rocky.
Deborah has had all the wallpaper removed from her house and has most of it painted. Awesome! Don’t hang that shelf I made until I get back from Missouri, ok? Deborah?
Sam and Rachel bought a house!! I am so, so pleased for them. The rental has served them well, but it’s a giant house that is impossible to heat in the winter and now the back screen door is literally hanging on by one hinge. Last Tuesday (am I right?) they heard about a newer house on an acre of land just outside of town. They went to see it, put in an offer immediately and BOOM! They close in August!
I’m so happy for them. Next time we see this view, it will have their stuff in it!
(By the way, the banner photo was not taken in the new house. We went to an Open House at a different house.on Sunday so they could finish filling out some paperwork. Their lives are a constant roller coaster of fun, man.)
