(Does anyone remember Jon Lovitt saying that?)
My kids have been working on a Fairy Tales/Theater/Puppet project with the students from Concordia who are helping us in the morning. Today they brought in the drama professor who had lots of props and answered our questions. In his costume pile he had….. this!
Way ‘back in the day, Lloyd, Brad, and Kathryn were in Concordia’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Here’s the coat in action:
Here’s Lloyd, a sad Israelite sitting down on the right. Look at those puppy dog eyes.
Here’s the group shot. Brad, are you over on the right?
Anyway, we had a great time, and it has inspired us to do more with our puppets. We are even using the puppet theater that Lloyd got during the big surplus sale. Remember? The problem is, I can’t hear them tell the story. They talk to each other, and this old lady can’t understand them. I solved the problem with a couple of sound periscopes. Perisounds? Perisonar? Help me out with the name. We’re going to be rich.
