Thanksgiving dinner went well with just one hitch. I didn’t take the bag of giblets out and found it when we were taking the meat off the bird. Oh well, we haven’t gotten sick……. yet.
We changed clothes after church to our comfy jammies. Deborah’s are twenty-some years old! That’s the old Concordia Teacher’s College seal you see there. 🙂
After dinner we headed over to Sam and Rachel’s. They’re out of town and we said we’d watch Chapin, their dog. We we scheduled to have an ice storm, and Sam and Rachel have a giant television, so he hunkered down there. Samith joined us for a couple of movies and it was just great. (Except I don’t speak dog and can’t seem to read Chapin’s mind.)

When you’re a cat person, communicating with a dog is like speaking English in Lithuania.
Deborah says
That should be on a t-shirt.
Deborah says
It was a great day! Thanks, Lauren and Lloyd!
Brad says
It looks like Chapin is saying: “My face itches.”
