Today is Sam’s birthday! He came up with – hands down – the best Happy My Birthday idea ever. He is…. Iron Sam.
He posed for his glamour shot in his basement,
then brought the photo to our house so we could mess around with it. That bare hand needed a glove. (Photoshop is hard.)
I thought he needed a starker background (wocka wocka), and then, of course, the lettering.
Before & After:
So, so funny! He ordered dozens of prints to hand out at school. The last ‘Y’ got cropped off, but I’m sure he’ll handle it in typical Sam fashion. “Iron Sam doesn’t have time to finish words. He’s too busy fighting cri”
Have a great birthday, Sam!
Brad says
Hahaha! I was just telling my students that if you want to have a great birthday, you have to tell people it’s your birthday. Happy Birthday, Iron Sam!
Deborah says
Well, then.
Happy birthday.
Kristi says
Lauren, I think you’ve just figured out the way to retire early. Turn people into super-heroes!!!
and Happy Birthday, IRON SAM!! You should send one of your cards to Robert Downey, Jr.
Kristi says
Please tell me that Sam rented the costume from a costume shop. Please… OR is he the REAL Iron Man?
