I don’t have a great post for today, so I’ll just tell you about a moment with Elijah (3) yesterday.
He held up the horseshoe magnet and asked what it was. I told him to get the box that goes with it and I’d show him. It’s a small, clear acrylic box filled with yellow sand and iron filings. He went to get it off the shelf and brought if over to me, cautiously saying, “What is this? (softly) I hope it’s not a wizard.”
No, Elijah, it was not a lizard.
P.S. Not that it matters, but my phone is dead and the charger is gone. If you need to call me, I won’t answer.
P.P.S. Do you know where my charger is?
P.P.P.S. Charger found. Phone still dead.
