I am using the voice to text feature on my iPad for this. I am very tired and don’t feel like typing. I will let the typos stand as they are. Hi it turns out it my type better than I do.
We had the second day of wiring today. Not as many people came to help, but those that did were fabulous. Again, I was very grateful. It went smoothly at the start, but then we hit a few hiccups. One of the pieces of conduit has something stuck inside. It took a long time to try and figure out if we could get anything through it and that was frustrating. Eventually we just abandoned that run and will ask an electrician to do it.
I also ran into a bit of a snag. The boxes that the wire comes in our supposed to be foolproof. The wire comes out of the box untangled, though someone does have to watch to make sure there isn’t a problem. Mine had a big problem. A big problem. It tangled up several times in the box and we finally wound up just ripping the box apart. It required a lot of yelling ‘STOP’ to the people pulling and then de-tangling. It was not fun.
Something that has turned out to be handy is a pair of walkie-talkies that Lloyd and I bought long long ago before we had cell phones. Using them was faster and more convenient than trying to text.
That’s all. I smell stinky so I need a shower and then I’m Going to bed.
