Art Week – Installment One

April 2, 2018

I have several art things to talk about this week. Let’s begin with the first – a fantastic surprise from Brad! A package was delivered on Monday from Brad, and it was…..

It’s a watercolor of Emme, Wally and Ralph! A painting! Of my cats!!! I love it, love it, love it!

It’s hanging temporarily in the kitchen, but I want to put it in the living room. (However, the wall where I want to hang it has a crack, so I either have to not care about the crack and just put a nail/screw in the wall, or repair the crack. I think #1 will be the option.)

Regardless, Brad – it is the best picture I’ve ever seen and will forever have a special place in my heart. I stand in awe of your talent. Trust me, I’ve been around a lot of art lately and this one speaks to my soul. 🙂

Thank you!!!!!

P.S. Change of plan. As I type this on my computer, that painting is right where I can see it. I think it may be the perfect location. 🙂

Yay! I was working on it for a while, and wanted so badly to say something, but I kept the secret. I brought it to Baltimore and shipped it from there, because sending it from Maui would have cost a million dollars.

Fantastic work, Brad! Homemade gifts are THE best!

    You have captured Emmi perfectly.
