On the off chance that Lloyd forgets to write his class reunion post, here are my parts of the story. He rode down to Concordia, Missouri with Sam and Rachel Friday morning. I left after work and after I loaded the car. My plan was to drive partway and camp for the night. I had made a reservation at a private campground in Rock Port, and it was wonderfully successful. They had a big ‘Jesus’ sign as you pulled in and there were posters in the bathhouse inviting people to worship at the local churches. It was safe and comfortable and I was only there nine hours. I set up the car bed and was cozy for the night.
Yay!
The reunion was good, too. Rachel was there, so I had someone to talk to and sneak away with when needed. Lloyd had a very good time, but he will have to tell you about those himself.
Downside: I burned my tongue repeatedly on gas station coffee and couldn’t taste anything all weekend.
