It was a good Sunday. After church we had a fairly speedy trip through Wal*Mart because Lloyd was hungry. Back home, we ate lunch and then I was super-productive while Lloyd took a nap. I did the laundry, made a lasagna and cooked up five pounds of hamburger. This has been a meal-saving strategy for a while. A baggie of cooked hamburger can be converted into chili, spaghetti sauce or sloppy joes in a jiffy. Plus, hamburger is cheap if you buy it in giant logs.
After that, Lloyd and my dad talked on the phone about computer stuff while I replaced the broken handle on the back door. It only required a tiny bit of chiseling to make the …. striker plate? sit flush. Well, flush enough. There’s a big ol’ gap on that ancient door.
After that, we went over to Sam and Rachel’s to watch the Superbowl and eat all kinds of tasty things brought by everyone. I fell asleep during the third quarter and it was glorious!
Now, on to the week……
