I believe that I’ve spoken about my rage candy before. I keep a few Starbursts or a fun-size package of Skittles in my pocket and sneak them into my face during recess. It brings me joy that I am doing something that I would totally not let them do. Ever. I’m really a terrible person.
Anyway, one day as I was sneaking my Starburst (with a fake cough – the best way to do it), I wondered if you could roll one out in a big strip and roll it up like a frosting flower.
Turns out, you totally can. It took four candies to come up with a good way to do it. I am also aware that this example looks like balogna. Slice it in three, smash them, roll them, cut it in half, line up the straight edges, roll it again, and roll up all flower-like.
I just don’t have the heart to eat them.

Awww… they’re so beautiful. And under the glass like that, they look like the rose from Beauty and the Beast.

Girrrrrrl! That is sooooo fantastic! Wow! Beautiful! And you’re crackin me up sneaking candy while supervising children! Perfect! I would have little liquor bottles in my pockets…. see why i don’t have kids…. or supervise them.

What would be interesting is to show the kids how to make a flower. Then let them try the process themselves.
