On the way to my parents’, we pass a little ‘town’ called Gypsum. That’s right – the stuff they use to make drywall and Plaster of Paris. I tried to get a photo of the factory that turns that freshly-mined powder into drywall panels, but I couldn’t get a clear shot. It’s longer than a football field, apparently. The pillar of steam is gigantic, too, so what looks like a lot of little buildings clustered around it are all the same factory. Dang trees in the way…..
Can you imagine working in a place that long? Wait, it might be as long as the CDC……
