School at Home

March 18, 2020

The CDC (it seems odd to be typing that now) is closed for a while, but we are providing educational opportunities for home. I’ve recorded some videos of me for tomorrow – Jesus Time, calendar, stories, etc. – and have sent home some parent resources, assignments (fun ones) and some learning toys. We’ll just see how this goes.

Thank you for having cheap meal prep boxes, WalMart.

It is all very strange. The lower grades at St. John are using Seesaw along with our online curriculum resources. We also sent home workbooks and packets, so that helps. It is a weird way to teach. I’m praying every day for this to end now.

Lloyd says I had to do puff things every day on farm, like pulling a calf when 6 mo pregnant with a neighbor. You did a good job Lauren!

I wish there was some way to send your Jesus stories to Indy. Those children are so very fortunate to have you.

Sounds like you’re doing some good stuff. Our school’s spring break has been extended to April 7. I winder if online stuff will happen for us then…
