I got done with work so early, and was home a little after four. I just don’t know what to do with my time.
So, I chopped down a tree and a rose bush. I meant to do it on Sunday, but remember how I like to be lazy?
Anyway, pretend that this shows a gigantic tangle of vegetation, way past the windows.
Then I wanted to burn it so I wouldn’t be that person who throws thorns in the trash can for the trash guy to get stabbed with. Imagine the wheelbarrow full of both dead and green branches, the green branches did not burn well, so I had to burn lots and lots of my precious dry branches to make the process happen. It took way the heck too long.
In other news, some guy on a Lutheran Educator’s Facebook page wanted photos of teachers as superheros for a photo he was making. Fortunately, I had two to submit. Can you find Lloyd and Sam in this ‘Zoom meeting’ photo?

That garden bed looks great! This spring and summer it will be gorgeous.

You are too kind. I really just did it because the branches creaking against the siding and windows were creeping me out at night. Terror gardening: it’s a real thing.
