Oven taters

April 5, 2020

The topic of potatoes came up with some people, and I decided to document how I make potatoes. (……. though I hardly ever make them.)

So, take your taters, wash them, cut them in wedges. I like thin wedges.Put them in a bowl.

Pour on some olive oil.

Then get out all your spices. Steak seasoning, everything-but-the-bagel seasoning, Lawry’s – you name it. Shake it all on.

Stir that around, spread on a baking sheet (lined with the same sheet of foil you’ve been using all pandemic) and bake at 425 for 30 minutes (flip them once) or until they are brown and whistling/screaming.

Screaming taters? With how you anthropomorphize everything, I’m surprised you don’t feel sorry for them and never make them again. 😉

We have been eating these for about a month now. We ate them before but quit making them. We love them but I am not as adventurous as you. I only use Italian and garlic on mine. It is really easy to put them out of their misery.
