This was a pretty regular weekend for me. I made a big list and then accomplished two things on it. Ahhh – just how I like it.
Saturday morning I went with Lloyd to the burn pile to take all the hedge trimmings. (I do love a good burn pile.) Then I spent most of the day watching camping videos, …. and then I slept in the car in the driveway. It was so windy and so cold, but I was pretty cozy.
Sunday was online church and then some food experiments. I was gifted some asparagus, so I roasted it with some cauliflower and cherry tomatoes and made a sort-of pasta primavera. (I had never heard of it until I watched Seinfeld.) It was delicious, but roasted asparagus makes your house stink so much you’ll want to sleep in your car.

Ha! I love asparagus! I usually just saute it for a short while in a covered frying pan with LOTS of butter. Mmm… butter…

Oh, asparagus is so yummy! I drizzle oil over the asparagus (in a bag) and then add some garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a bit of parmesan cheese. Roast it in the oven for a bit and YUMMY!!!!
