I have some pretty dang reliable aides in the late afternoon, so I’ve been able to get away from the classroom to do some work. Our resource room/library is a nice place to work, but yesterday I looked around and realized that a lot of the stuff that is in there doesn’t work and needs to go.
This afternoon I spent a little time clearing it out.
All those computers are stashed in the server room now until Lloyd can sort through them and figure out what to do with them. At least they are out of sight, though. That gigantic printer? I will slowly take it apart piece by piece and throw it away. My guess it will take about a month.

I have a perfectly functional, and even quite nice, laser printer that I can’t even give away. It was for home. I already have one at school. I told my co-workers that it’s better than an ink jet, but they don’t believe me. So it sits in my classroom, along with the brand new, un-opened toner cartridge I have for it.
Maybe I will dismantle it piece by piece and throw it away. Or maybe I’ll just chuck the whole thing in the dumpster.
