Well, you can just add ‘veterinarian’ to my resume’ now. We had a broken camel as part of one of the nativity sets and regular wood glue wasn’t cutting it. I drilled into the leg and the body, using minimal anesthetic, and was able to repair it.

It’s totally crooked, though. He’ll never walk the same.
Maybe you could give him a tiny crutch to help him as he heals…
