We did a lot of sitting around this weekend, which I love, and even got a job about 97% done at work.
The parents have to walk through the playground to bring their children in the mornings, and the area outside the gate that everyone uses has some small rocks (bigger than gravel). Apparently this is tricky for the toddlers to navigate, and last week we had a little girl fall and get a scrape. Nobody wants that.
I asked Lloyd to help figure it out, since he’s my main gravel & rock guy. A job that took less than an hour of actual work was spread out over several days. Day one to shovel/rake back the rock and devise a plan (15 minutes), Day two to go buy supplies and set them out,
Day three to go back and buy MORE supplies and then finish it up.
It’s not perfect . Where the rubber tiles meet the fake grass there is a trippable spot, but I don’t think that can be fixed/smashed flat until the weather warms up. We’ll make do as we can.
Thanks, Lloyd!

Good job!

It looks really good. It should be just the thing to give more even footing. It’ll get a good test tomorrow when the snow comes!
