It’s the ‘last week’ of preschool, and I’m a bit flustered with the amount of stuff to get done. I need to gather up all the things of the children who are leaving for summer and do some fun-ish things to commemorate the end of everyone’s time together. I’m also headed out to Colorado to see my family next week, so I need to get some bare-bones plans to leave behind for the sub.
However, the lilacs that Brad planted long ago are blooming outside the window, and the smell is lovely. They seem to bloom later than the other lilacs in town, which is a blessing to me. I see and smell other people’s, and that alerts me to start paying attention to the lilacs at home. Thanks, Brad!

Yay! I’m so glad they bring you some happiness. I sit on my lanai almost every evening to watch my plants grow. One of them has fragrant flowers, and I always take a moment to smell them.
