I’m back in Nebraska. I didn’t post much from Colorado because….well, I just didn’t. Sorry.
It was so good to spend time with family. After Mom’s fall, they found out she had an intestinal infection but by the time I got there, the medicine had helped immensely. I got to witness the incredible love and care shown and given by my Dad and sister, and we just spent some lovely time all together. On my last day there, the physical therapist came over and helped Mom work to stand up on her own and use the walker to start moving around on her own without help – but with someone nearby. It was amazing and exhausting! I’m so proud of her.
Driving home was fine. I did it in one shot, and with the exception of some road work that stalled us out occasionally, it was uneventful. One of the perks of traveling alone is that I stop whenever I want, and I stop a lot. (Not for very long, but I’m a fan of looking around gas stations.)
I got home to find that Lloyd has cleaned everything up, and I promptly ruined it with all my stuff. I’ll work on keeping it nice, though. Let’s see how long that happens.

Welcome home! I can’t believe you did that in one day.

Hehe… I’m laughing about your “ruining it with all your stuff” comment. I do that ALL THE TIME. Why can’t I just keep my stinking table area clean?
