Distressingly efficient.

Ugh. As I get older, it has been more and more of a bother to haul the big vacuum up and down the stairs. “This is stupid,” I say to myself, “We could conceivably have two vacuums.”

Well, we conceivably now have two vacuums. I wanted one that was light and could come apart so I could get into the nooks and crannies, especially on the basement steps. It’s corded instead of cordless, which I like. More power!

Anyway, I tested it on the living room rug…… and it was horrifying. After going over a spot that was LITERALLY less than four square feet, the canister was a third full of hair and dirt. It. Was. HORRIFYING.

Oh, my gosh – we vacuumed (nearly) everything and it was so, so gross.

I’m quite glad to have it.

Hehe… I remember suggesting we get a new vacuum for my mom for her fiftieth birthday. Clearer heads prevailed. We got her a very nice wristwatch.

There is something quite satisfying about seeing all of that gunk accumulate in the canister. Great purchase!
