It has not been a billion degrees here, so the air conditioner hasn’t been running, and of course the furnace wouldn’t be on yet. (Insert chuckle here.) When we got home, the house had been closed up for several days and the ‘old, weird house’ smell was pretty evident. Chalk that up to the bat poop that is probably part of the insulation. Bleh.
Anyway, it has been in the high 40s/low 50s at night, so we’ve had the windows cracked to air out the house and let in that sweet, sweet cool air. I’m actually chilly when I sleep! It’s delightful.
Today the high is supposed to hit 80, so I’ll need to remember to close up those windows.
Have a great day, y’all!

Welcome, FALL!!! These are also the days where I start the day in multiple layers, strip down to basic layers in the middle of the day, and put all of the layers on again as the temps get cooler.

Hehe… I just wrote a post about Fall too, but it doesn’t include temperatures in the 40’s and 50’s. That sounds wonderful! Enjoy the crisp clean air of autumn!
