Birthday Thoughts

September 24, 2021

Today is my cousin Steven’s birthday, and it would have been my Mom’s 84th (I had they typo of β€˜94th’ before) birthday. He came out to the funeral, and reminded me that they were Birthday Buddies. Our family is sending a sweet little greeting to show him our love. (I’d show it here, but again, it feels too weird and private.)

I’m not going to say ‘Happy Birthday in Heaven’, because 1) I’m pretty sure there is no Time there and 2) even if there were, she wouldn’t care. πŸ™‚

Regardless, I love my cousin and I love my mom. Have a splendid Friday, everyone!

I regularly wonder about the timelessness of heaven. It’s hard to imagine, because I’ve only ever experienced linear time.

    Happy Birthday, Steven!
