Delightfully Lazy Saturday

Saturday was wonderfully lazy. I slept in (until 7!), made a fire, read out in the shed, then watched t.v. for a while. There was a small break for a little work, though.

I am too lazy for a yard sale, so every so often I just put my junk outside with a ‘free’ sign and post it on Facebook. It works out pretty well – about 75% of it gets picked up, and then I either take the rest to Goodwill at some point or set it out again the next time. I wanted to get some stuff out of the basement so my bit-by-bit cleaning could proceed. This round, I had our old vacuum, a little hand vac, a tool box, a punch bowl set that was a pity-purchase at an auction, some glass bottles, a foot bath, a miter saw box, and some holiday nick-knacks.

I posted it in poem form on Facebook.

A good chunk of it is gone, but can I interest you in a foot bath?

Isn’t it funny to say that sleeping til 7am is “sleeping in”? 🙂 My childhood self would never have believed me when I say things like that.
