Whoops

December 1, 2021 by Lauren 3 Comments

Thursday update: The key fob works. Whew.

*******************************************

I just have to say that we are doing a pretty good job around here treading water – I mean, keeping the house chores moving along at a nice clip. It’s certainly not perfect, but it’s kind of nice to not be drowning in as much filth as usual.

One fantastic thing that has been happening is that Lloyd is the Laundry Initiator. He throws a load in the washer in the morning and we process it in the evening.

One thing that is not fantastic is that I tend to leave pairs of pants around – usually hanging on a hook or something – because I can get a couple of wears of of them before they need to be washed.

One very specific thing that was not fantastic was that one of those pairs of pants was gathered by Lloyd to put in the washer, and that pair of pants had my Prius key in the pocket. It is currently sitting in a sieve above the super-windy air purifier to dry out.

We’ll see if this works or if this is a pricey mistake. Oh, well – the laundry is getting done, so it will be totally worth it even if it needs to be replaced!

Glad to hear it’s working! I washed my car keys before and had a happy outcome too 🙂

And way to go with the laundry! I forget all the time, and then suddenly it’s too late to start a load because it will sit too long.

Hooray on the house work. Sorry about your fob.
