Yesterday was a tough day. Aside from the normal things that make the day wonky, my director’s father died. This is not completely unexpected – he has not been doing well for quite some time – but it is still sad. So, prayers for her family as they navigate this new stretch would be most welcome.
In other news, I have a boy who keeps bringing three left-handed mittens, so prayers for him might be a good thing, too.
Brad says
Are you still wearing mittens there? Is April cold? I can’t remember when the seasons change. I remember that in Baltimore it was safe to put plants in the garden outside after Mother’s Day.
Deborah says
This time of year the weather fluctuates greatly. Today it’s supposed to be 39 degrees and very windy. By Sunday it will be in the upper 60s. The Mother’s Day rule is generally followed around here, too.
Gretchen says
I’ll be in Seward this weekend. What time is Council Fire happening?
Lauren says
Aww… welcome back to Seward! It’s usually before sunrise, but with all the red flag warnings, it may not happen. 🙁
