Twang

August 3, 2022 by Lauren 2 Comments

Lloyd and I did a Big Basement Clean a little while ago, and while it’s fairly tidy, I realize that we have way more stuff than it is reasonable for two people to have. I’ve been very slowly trying to purge a little at a time.

The other day I was putting something away and saw a box that I thought held a ukulele/harp-type instrument that someone had given me. I was going to see if it was something to keep….. but the box felt weird.

It had a ukulele bag inside. The bag felt weird.

The ukulele…… felt weird.

Ha! I don’t know if it was a humidity issue or just a cheap-glued-ukulele issue, but this is going right in the trash. I’m not even going to try to salvage it. (This is one of the very cheap ukes I bought when I would give ukulele presentations, so it’s not like I’m tossing something valuable.)

Well, at least that one was an easy decision.

Congrats on your purging. It is freeing to get rid of some of the extra stuff like that. 🙂
