That book that I’m reading about establishing good habits is pretty useful. I’m definitely in the ‘just change one small thing at a time’ category, but it feels good to work incrementally toward trying to be a person who takes care of things.
I already told you about using my heated eye mask in the early morning, and that’s working out great. It’s on when my first alarm goes off and it’s off in 20 minutes and then I actually get up because I’m massaging my eyelids. No more oversleeping!
The other thing is that waaaaaaaay back in January of 2020 when my dry eyes were discovered, I bought that horrifically expensive bottle ($173) of De 3 Dry Eye Omega Benefits snake oil. I mean fish oil. It seemed stupid and a bother, so I stopped taking it, of course. Well, I am determined to finish the bottle, even if it’s all just bunk.
I’m habit stacking with this one, too. I have a cup of coffee every morning, and now that bottle of fish oil capsules is right in the way. I can’t have my caffeine fix without swallowing three dollars worth of snake oil. I mean, snake oil. Dang it! I meant to say snake oil. Dang it! Why can’t I type ‘fish’. Huh – there it is. I can type ‘fish’. Let’s try this again – snake oil.
