Our trip to Colorado was great, but so short. We left Seward on Friday around 4:30 p.m. and drove to Denver. We were up and on the road by 5:30, which got us to Dad well before noon. That was a blessing. There were some medical issues to help out with, a couple of things around the house, and of course – just getting to spend family time together, which is the important thing. I don’t have any photos for here, but my family uses an app called Marco Polo that sends video messages, and it was great ‘talking’ to each other with that while we were there. I highly recommend the app.
I don’t want to go into my Dad’s health issues here, because that’s a little too private, but if I could ask for prayers for him to continue to heal and gain strength, that would be wonderful. And while you’re praying, would you include Lloyd’s Dad for nearly the same kinds of issues? We got word yesterday that he is dealing with similar issues. Not a great time for Dads around here, but they are very, very loved.
Have a great Tuesday, everyone, ok?
