I’m back in Nebraska. Going out and coming back, my connections were tight enough that I made mental back-up plans to just drive the second half of the trip, but God was good and I made it to the gate(s) just as boarding began. (Last night I ‘ran’ through Concourse B at Denver – gate 8 to gate 58. Apparently that concourse is 4,200 feet long. I can’t find an updated map that shows the ‘new’ end where gate 8 is, but it was end-to-end and it wasn’t pretty.)
All flights were blessedly free of turbulence, and that was great. It was awesome spending time with my Dad, and I wish it could have been longer. We got to get him to his new doctor for a very pleasant appointment, visited and did some things around the house – overall, a really lovely time.
I got in pretty late and am headed to work, so that’s it for now. Have a great Monday!
Those tight time-frames make for some frazzled thinking and planning. Glad to hear that you made your flight.
Time with family is a blessing indeed.
Haha! I like that you put ‘ran’ in quotation marks!
