Funny what a little guilt can do…

January 8, 2007 by Lauren 6 Comments

So, SOMEone wants to burn forty calories of his own, I see. Oh, it is so wearisome having everyone try to copy me, be more like me, emulate me, imitate me, impersonate …..er, sorry. Just found the thesaurus function on Microsoft Word.

Anyway, Lloyd finally replaced the D batteries in his bike (without which it will not function), sighed, and said, “One less excuse”. Hooray for Lloyd! He’s pedaling to health!

Guilty as charged! Get it? New batteries? CHARGED?? Get it?

New Students

January 4, 2007 by Lauren 13 Comments

When I returned some tables and chairs to Concordia after Kate’s wedding, I had to stop in the Student Life Office. I asked where our ‘New Students’ photo was, since every other year since 1987 is posted around the walls. We were back in a closet on top of some filing cabinets. What a fitting […]

IKEA

January 4, 2007 by Lauren 4 Comments

Oh, how I love IKEA.  Please visit their website to see all the wonderfully designed, inexpensive, fabulous things that I love so much!  Unfortunately, there isn’t one anywhere in the Midwest.  Most of my friends live close to one, the jerks.  Kathryn & Todd have one in Chicago, Brad has one in Baltimore, and Charles […]
