Our thanks to the Pesters, who served up some delicious New Year’s fondue (as is tradition)! A good time was had by all, and the best part? We wrap it up early. I’ll be in bed by 10:30! Woo-hoo!
In other news, Brad made it safely onto the plane and should be arriving safely in Baltimore. Much to Lloyd’s sorrow, that means that I’ll be turning the heat back down. That’s right – when company comes, the house is good and warm. Maybe Lloyd should invite more people over…
Happy New Year, everybody!
Brad says
Well if you made it to 10pm, at least you could celebrate New Year’s in Nova Scotia time. Happy Nova Scotia New Year’s!
Beth says
Mmmmm fondue. I love fondue. Thanks for coming over! 😀
I’ll come over and stay tonight if you want Lloyd. For the sake of heat.
Deanne says
Was that both sweet & salty fondue? (I love it both ways; just curious…)
Lauren says
Yes -- Cheese and chocolate. Lloyd was the first to try sausage in the chocolate, which became a huge, yet wrong, hit.
Karla says
Ewww!
Peggy says
Happy 2009 All!!
I’d send you a sweater Lloyd, but I don’t own one…
Gretchen says
I like how you resisted the peer pressure of celebrating until midnight. I usually do the same thing. Why should one day on the calendar dictate how long you must stay at a party?
Lauren says
We’re mavericks like that. 😀
